Stay Open · Business Continuity
Most “redundancy” is documented but never tested. Most failover stays untouched until the day you need it — and then it doesn’t work.
Stay Open is the opposite — an always-on network engineered for your specific sites. Multi-medium connectivity. Automatic failover that’s been drilled, not just diagrammed. Real-time monitoring that watches your business — not just your link. And an incident response playbook that runs on your rules, not ours.
Resilience isn’t one design. We match the failover model to what each site actually needs — by criticality, by location, and by budget.
Pattern 01
Business broadband as primary, managed 5G/LTE as automatic failover. The point-of-sale terminal keeps running on cellular when the cable goes down — customer doesn’t notice.
Best for:
Pattern 02
SLA-backed dedicated internet as primary, business broadband as failover. Different physical path, different carrier, different fault domain — so a single carrier outage doesn’t take you offline.
Best for:
Pattern 03
Two SLA-backed dedicated fibre circuits, from different carriers, on physically diverse paths. We verify the underlying fault domains don’t overlap — different ducts, different POPs, different lit-fibre routes.
Best for:
Pattern 04
Where wireline isn’t an option — northern operations, remote camps, rural retail. LEO satellite (Starlink-class) as primary, 5G/LTE where coverage exists. Real connectivity in places the Big 3 won’t quote.
Best for:
A failover design isn’t worth much without the operational discipline to keep it real. That’s the part most providers skip.
Most providers monitor link state. We monitor whether your point-of-sale terminal can actually reach Stripe, whether the cloud ERP responds, whether the booking system is loading. Application-layer alerting that fires when your business stops working — even if the link looks fine.
Failover is automatic. What happens next is your call — per site, per priority. Page your IT lead. Open a ticket in your ServiceNow. Dispatch a field tech automatically. Or any combination. We don’t impose a one-size playbook on a multi-site business.
See what we see. Per-site uptime, link state, application health, current incidents, historical performance. Pull reports for your board without filing a ticket. Hand customers a single place to check site status.
Two failover technologies, matched to what each site actually needs.
BFD-driven link detection. Application-aware policy reroutes traffic in under a second. For sites where every second matters — POS, healthcare, real-time apps. Higher MRC, highest resilience.
Routing-based failover via BGP reconvergence. Cost-effective for sites where 30 seconds of downtime is acceptable. Lower MRC, still reliable. The right answer for many branch deployments.
Most providers say they have failover. Almost none will run a real failure drill on a working network.
Stay Open includes scheduled failover testing on the cadence you choose — quarterly, semi-annually, or on-demand. Two flavours: simulated isolation (logical test, no impact) when you just want to verify the design, or full failure (we deliberately disable the primary) when you want to know what really happens. Every drill ends with a written report — what worked, what didn’t, what we changed.
Stay Open works either way. Add it to an existing managed-network engagement at any time, or buy it as a standalone resilience layer over connectivity you already own.
